Sodium PCA, short for Sodium Pyrrolidone Carboxylic Acid, is a skin-identical ingredient found throughout the epidermis. It’s one of the skin’s Natural Moisturizing Factors (NMFs), helping to maintain hydration levels in the skin. It’s a powerful humectant that grabs onto water as it’s evaporating out of the skin and holds it in place for plump, glowing skin.
