Why we use it
Also known as Vascular Endothelial Growth Factor (VEGF), this ingredient belongs to a special class of peptides known as growth factors. Growth factors bind to special growth factor receptors on specific cells to stimulate cell growth and regeneration. VEGF stimulates vascular cells (such as capillaries), helping to increase the flow of nutrients to fibroblasts.
