Why we use it
Palmitoyl Oligopeptide-78 is a signaling peptide that tells keratinocytes to create more keratin. This family of proteins forms the backbone of our moisture barrier, keeping those skin cells strong, flexible, and resilient. When combined with Palmitoyl Heptapeptide-27, one study showed that after 28 days of daily use, epidermal thickness increased by 10% and transepidermal water loss (TEWL) decreased by 9%.
