Why we use it
Also known as carnauba wax, this ingredient is a stable, robust vegetable wax. Stratia uses it to protect the retinol in Night Shift. Retinol is a notoriously delicate ingredient, so we use Copernicia Cerifera Cera to form microscopic capsules that surround and protect the retinol. These capsules can penetrate the skin more deeply and break down slowly to reduce irritation.
